You're right on about law school libraries and the jet of anxiety spewing from their doors around this time of year. It hits you like water from a fire hose in the 1L year, but it gets more tolerable.

I'm currently in my second year, so I know this first hand. That said, even the guy that runs the little restaurant in our student lounge has noticed it's mostly 1Ls that study in the law school regularly. I certainly don't do it any more.

My advice is to find another library on campus, or a coffee shop. I try to switch places frequently. Otherwise, I find that I gradually condition myself. I start getting nervous just walking in.

Good Luck!
