The Future of Mori
Mori, a digital workbook app that Kaitilin reviewed back in September, 2006, has been sold by Hog Bay Software (owned by Jesse Grosjean). The new owner, Apokalypse Software (owned by Alfonso Guerra) recently told Giles Turnbull of O’Reilly Mac DevCenter Blog where he plans to take the product. Check it out if you’re interested in the future of this popular student app.

Greetings,
Well, I was going to wait until Mori v1.7 is released to introduce myself, but I suppose now is as good a time as any. I caught notice of your site a short while ago due to Kaitilin’s review, but wanted to wait for the new version so you’d have something to blog about.
Let me say I appreciate the mentions and if you’ve been enjoying Mori at the current versions, you’re definitely going to be thrilled with the planned changes.
(BTW, a minor issue, but this being a law-related blog and all. Mori was purchased by Apokalypse Software Corp., of which I am founder and president.)
Many thanks and I hope to have something to delight your readers with soon.
Alfonso

Alfonso,
Thanks for the note. I know there are a good number of readers who are excited to see what’s coming next for Mori. Best of luck to Apokalypse Software! I’ve edited the original post to be more clear about the ownership.
