From the Extegrity (makers of Exam 4) site:

We do not expect compatibility issues with Macintosh OS X 10.5 Leopard. However, as with any major operating system update, we cannot make a definitive statement until we have had a chance to review the update version that is actually shipped. As the release date for Leopard is so close to final exams, it would be prudent for students to plan to delay installing the update until after final exams this semester.
