There’s an excellent thread at 43 Folders discussing the best method for taking notes in class (not methodology, as an astute commenter observed). There is plenty of discussion about which Mac note-taking app is best, which online note-taking service has been overlooked, and so on. But more importantly, the meta discussion is really about whether it is best to take notes by hand or by laptop. As usual, Merlin attracts the right kind of crowd, and there are some excellent bits of insight in the discussion.
