You may already be familiar with the concept of GTD, or “Getting Things Done.” David Allen’s book of the same name espouses a set of basic principles for becoming more productive. GTD is system-neutral, in that unlike Franklin-Covey and other productivity operations, Allen does not espouse a particular product. As a result, a plethora of GTD software has sprung up, much of it on the Mac.

I already described my use of OmniOutliner Pro + Kinkless, but there are many other ways to put GTD principles into use. At This Particular Mac has posted a nice long list of Mac GTD apps that includes several Web-based tools. If you are looking for a new way to manage your time, one of the apps in the list may be just right for you.
