This is something of a weak list…
there are a TON of helpful apps for law students.
Law In A Flash makes their flashcards available in iPhone form for all of their subjects (they are about $30-$40 each)
Blacks Law Dictionary, of course ($50)
Law Box
US Code
Legal Edge
not to mention useful student apps:
DocScanner
GoodReader
RSS reader
iThoughts
IFlipr
etc…
Agreed, it is a weak list. The headline should have been “Two iPhone Apps for Law Students” as this was not intended to be a list of available iPhone apps. It’s just two I became aware of recently.
Thanks for your list – it looks like a good start point for an article.
I’d like to mention a few apps that might of interest to law students, some of which I have written about on my blog: Law in a Flash, iFlash (flashcards), Bento, Evernote, the Cliff Maier apps (Federal Rules of: Criminal Procedure, Civil Procedure, Evidence, and Appellate Procedure are just a few), Court Days, DaysFrom, and Kaplan PMBR’s BarInfoGuide.
I am in the process of finishing up a review of iFlash.
Although Jott is not specifically targeted to law students, it can help keep things organized for a busy law student.
Kaplan has a flashcard app for the MBE. It is free from iTunes. I downloaded it yesterday and really like what I have seen. If you are studying for the February bar exam, I highly recommend this app!
I have made a quick post about it on my blog and will update my thoughts about this app later. So far, it looks really cool.

Kaplan PMBR now has a mobile bar review app for the iPhone/iPod Touch.
Are there any list readers who are using the BarMax CA app?
