Hal, a reader who is planning on taking the New Mexico bar exam, made an inquiry about that state’s rules regarding Macs. The official Board of Bar Examiners page is vague, stating only that SofTest is required:
You may write the MPT’s and essays on your laptop. You must register with ExamSoft and download its software.
Does anyone have any more detailed information about whether New Mexico explicitly allows Mac use? It would be annoying to say the least, if Hal bought a new MacBook Air only to have the examiners stop him at the door.
