The Final Post

I’m putting the Mac Law Students blog on ice. All of the content published from December, 2006 until now is still available. I just won’t be publishing anything new. The Mac Law Students forum will stay up at least for a while, but activity there is declining so I may archive it as well.

For the last year or so I’ve been trying to build a structure that would keep MLS going after my departure. Unfortunately and through nobody’s fault, that has proven to be a bridge too far. Attending law school is a grueling affair, and focusing on school-related activities should rightly be every student’s first priority. Perhaps it is telling that I started this blog in the first place; it must have been the first evidence that a legal career wasn’t really what I wanted.

Writing MLS, posting articles from other law students, and communicating with everyone who contacted me in connection with the blog has been very rewarding. Thank you for making it such an enjoyable distraction.

I am now quite busy with productOps, a software product development firm in Santa Cruz, California. In the months following my graduation in May, my partners and I have created the company and are off and running. If you ever find yourself in need of web or software development services, look me up.

Finally, I leave you with this sincere wish: May all your finals be absurdly easy, and may you get out of law school more than what you put into it.
