Carnell Hicks, a relatively recent switcher and 1L, has written a helpful article about the apps he uses. The writeup is focused especially on switchers. So if you’re new to the Mac (and even if you aren’t), take a look. There are apps in Carnell’s article that I’d never even heard about, proving once again that there are an abundance of great Mac applications for law students. Carnell also included links to Mac news and other resources, so check it out if you get a chance.

I’m happy to say this is the fifth Mac student setup article, and each of them really differs from the others. This gives further evidence to support my belief that there is no one best way to use a Mac in law school, but there are many ways to make a Mac work in a fashion that’s just right for you.

p.s. - Is it me or is it a bit weird that the five writeups were created by Athas, Brian, Carnell, Dan, and Erik? What are the odds of an A, B, C, D, E arrangement like that?
