Which Feed Reader or Aggregator to Use?
I use Feedburner to manage Mac Law Students feeds. It’s a handy free service that was recently bought by Google. One of the things it shows me is which feed readers and feed aggregators people are using to obtain feeds from MLS. If you haven’t found a way to get feeds that matches your needs, you may want to check out one of these popular readers.

Google Reader is a free online reader that has caught on rapidly.
NetNewsWire is my personal favorite, a full-featured Mac application that was just given an overhaul. It costs $29.95. I wrote a review of an earlier version of this app in September, 2006.
Safari comes bundled with Mac OS X and supports RSS feeds.
Vienna is a free, Open Source feed reader application for the Mac.
NewsGator Online is a free online aggregator.
Bloglines is a free online aggregator.
MyYahoo! is a free online reader.
NewsFire is a feed reader application for the Mac. It costs $20.
Although it isn’t as well known, RSS Menu has fans, including MLS contributor Shaw Cunningham, who wrote about RSS Menu a couple of weeks ago.
There are other feed readers and aggregators available, too. For an extensive list of reader apps for the Mac, check out RSS Compendium. There’s also a list of online aggregators at News on Feeds.
